Re: Season ticket renewals
Will they ask for proof of age if over 65. I've had an over 65 ticket for 2 years now and it was they that knew I was 65 and reduced the price. They have known my age since 1981 when I first got an ST.

Re: Season ticket renewals
My daughter is 20 and got the same email asking for proof of age. She's had the same clients ref for 14 years. If they don't know how old she is now they never will.

Re: Season ticket renewals
Haven't had one yet but l think what they might be doing is contacting people with kids tickets who haven't turned up for say more than half the games ,l don't know.

Re: Season ticket renewals
I didn't receive any email, so just emailed them to ask what's happening.

They say that since they transferred ticketing providers from See to Ticketmaster that they no longer have copies of ID that was provided as Upton Park so they need to ask for this again.

This does beg the question who does have access to my child's original ID if the Club did not retain it.

Re: Season ticket renewals
Just had a phone call from the ticket office to ask me to supply Proof of age.

I bought a two year o.a.p concession season ticket for the new stadium last year and had to produce proof that I was over 65 which obviously I did. No need to renew this year but they want proof just in case my age has gone down by 4 years??!!

Dear Season Ticket Holder,

With the season fast approaching, we are ensuring we have the correct details for ***** and their Under 16 Season Ticket.

Our records currently show that we require proof of age and identification to validate their concession ticket.

This information must be submitted by sending a copy of their birth certificate, passport or driving license.

Good news. Magic Mutley was right all along.

Re: Season ticket renewals
I haven't received one yet.

As others have said, I'd already provided ID when at UP.

Having said this my youngest didn't have one at UP and they never asked me for her ID.

However, I'm presuming everyone would have booked seats with the name and details of a real child so even if they had no intention of bringing the child they could at least provide relevant ID. I can't see this will make much difference.

Re: Season ticket renewals
I see they're finally getting round to the thing I said they wilfully WEREN'T doing 2 plus years ago so they shift all the STs and ticket office "ITK" On the Ball said they were all along.

Right again.

Re: Season ticket renewals
my mate showed me the e-mail he got for his daughter asking him to prove she is under 16 by providing either her birth certificate, passport or drivers licence...fucking drivers licence to prove you are under 16????

Re: Season ticket renewals
Reason why you see empty seats dotted around is mainly because adults are buying kids ST and picking what games they are going to.

Eggbert Nobacon 2:27 Mon Jul 17
Re: Season ticket renewals
as said it should have been done at the start. In fact the club said it was being done, but the people in the sales centre seemingly didn't get that memo

But fully support anything that stops seats sitting empty

Re: Season ticket renewals
think its pretty clear the clubs trying to clamp down on the kids S/T's that were bought when everyone had their x3 allocation...i would guess many of those kids registered dont actually exist and their seats are being used by an adult, or sitting empty...think it could screw a few!!

Re: Season ticket renewals
I provided proof of age when I bought my kids season tickets at Upton Park. They still have the same client ref no.s so why do I need to provide proof of age again? Another example of the club being incompetent cunts.

Plus, they are saying if not done by 29th July they cannot guarantee that tickets will be available for the start of the season. Yet another example of the club being incompetent cunts.
